Same Time Next Week?
Living Without Anxiety In the Modern World
Released May 14th, 2026. Orion Spring
Same Time Next Week? is an unflinchingly honest guide to living with anxiety in an age of constant optimisation, digital overload and curated calm.
Millions now turn to AI for therapy before they turn to a human, often leaving them with more questions than answers. In this refreshingly human book, therapist Joshua Fletcher shares the stories of four brave clients who choose to bring their whole selves to his therapy room and learn to make space for the messy feelings that won't quite fit into an AI prompt box.
Alongside the stories of Miriam, Ruben, Liya Su and Magnus, Josh shares his experience of returning to practice after wrestling with his own mental health challenges. Through these hopeful stories, Josh offers invaluable insights on how to manage anxiety in our modern world and resist the overwhelming pressure to be perfect.
This is not a book about fixing yourself because you are not a problem to be solved. In this book you'll learn how to better understand your anxiety and, by slowing down and building the right support, find a way to live a fulfilling life alongside it.

Anxiety: Panicking about Panic (2nd Edition)
A powerful, self-help guide for those suffering from an Anxiety or Panic Disorder
Anxiety: Panicking About Panic was the first book I wrote after coming out of an acute diagnosis of panic disorder (over 10 years ago!). I tried many things to recover and eventually I got to a good place, so I decided to write down everything that I had learned that helped me overcome excessive panic attacks and the scary symptoms that go with it. This is a short, easily accessible book for people who have perhaps been newly diagnosed with panic or are stuck in the panic cycle, where every day they feel a sense of doom, dread, and fear of another panic attack happening. I first finished this book in March 2013, and it still sells to this day. This book was written before I was a therapist, but sometimes I dip into it just to remind me of what it was like at that time when I came out of a very anxious episode of my life and got to a good place.
Anxiety: Practical About Panic
A Practical Guide to Understanding and Overcoming Anxiety Disorder
This is the follow-up book to my first book, "Anxiety Panicking About Panic." I have taken into account the feedback from the first book and provided lots more information and practical insights into how to deal with an anxiety disorder. This book was published by John Murray, which is part of the Hachette Publishing Group. I loved writing this book and this was the first book I wrote after qualifying as a therapist.
